The state of the American public school educational system looms large in the news lately. While there are shining lights of progress there are also those segments of the country with budget shortfalls and limited resources to be effective. The cartoonists have some interesting solutions to that problem. Who knows? Their ideas just might catch on.
And, well, animal cartoons will always hold a special place in my heart. Why? There is nothing funnier than a sarcastic animal, spouting off his or her opinion about Life and the antics of people. Talk about holding up a mirror to society.
