Funny Video: Jon Stewart Scorches Big Banks 4 Accidental Foreclosures

Check out the scathing remarks Jon Stewart dishes out to the Bozo mindset of the Big Banks and how illegally they bungle the home foreclosure process.

From Denny:  You've hearing it on the news about how banks have been sending out people to change the locks on mortgaged homes behind in their payments. There are a couple of problems with this. One is that homeowners are still living in their homes. Most of all, these banks who are this aggressive - trespassing - have not started the foreclosure process so therefore have no legal rights to change the locks on the homes - like what happened in Orange County, Florida recently.  Nor did they give the homeowners any notice of their intention. Talk about scummy business practices of which the law and the government are doing nothing to stop.

What Jon Stewart is taking to task is laying bare just how stupid these banks are in their practices. Even they don't read the fine print on their own contracts. Now, those same banks are finally admitting they have foreclosed on homes for which they don't even have the mortgage. Ooops! They say they did not read the fine print correctly. Uh, like the wrong name and wrong address for starters???

You really have to wonder about these Big Banks who whined to the government to bail them out. So, we, the taxpayers did bail them out. Now they turn around and take our homes whether they own the mortgage on them or not, whether they have observed due legal process or not. These guys are absolute thugs hiding behind what appears to be a legitimate business of banking.

Of course, Jon Stewart wailed on the Big Banks about not reading their own fine print. "Wait, what? The banks weren't reading the fine print? You're the people who came up with the "F"ing fine print in the first place!"

Now Stewart has called for a halt to all foreclosures until the paperwork is straightened out - you know about a decade it should take to accomplish that feat. But the analysts claim halting foreclosures would collapse the economy. Stewart: "Since when are we now a foreclosure-based economy???"
