Viral Video: Huge To Go Order As Funny Bear Makes His Getaway With Yummy Garbage Dumpster

From Denny: Bears. What are you gonna do with them? They have garbage gourmet tastes. Especially this enterprising guy at a Colorado Springs, Colorado German restaurant. What was a restaurant to do but film the bear naked thief in case they had to take him to court?

Late-night snacking is a favorite with bears and this bear was notably out for the big score. He decided he wanted to keep snacking later in the day at his den so he hit on the idea of stealing the dumpster for an all day take away picnic lunch.

Stealing this restaurant's garbage dumpster was no easy feat. The dumpster weighs about a half ton when full of leftover food and trash. The bear managed to drag this dumpster about 50 feet away from its usual area but no significant damage was reported.

The Edelweiss Restaurant owners are hoping to prevent any more bear dumpster snatching and late-night snacking by chaining the dumpsters. Good luck on that idea as clearly this was one smart bear since he did this for two nights in a row. Stay tuned to see more surveillance video as this bear might return on roller skates to up the challenge!

A Truth Journal: Childish White House Press Secretary Pouts When Challenged By Kid Reporter: From Denny: If there ever was a sign that Team Obama is unraveling and spinning out of control in their second term then the Press Secretary's childish response to a 16-year-old's poignant question in a recent news briefing is reflecting it.

Press Secretary Jay Carney behaves like a man who hates his job. He looks like he is always sucking lemons and developing ulcers for some time now. Clearly, this guy is not a good fit for Press Secretary because he sure does not know how to relate positively to the press, especially an ardent high school student.

Just what did this teenager, Gabe Finger, an intern at the snarky conservative The Daily Caller, ask that Carney found so odious?

From Denny: OK, most of us were fine with the clever name of "Kaidence" since it was music related and was in harmony with Mom and Dad's first names starting with a "K." At least that was what the rumors were saying just before their baby girl was born.

But no, could the parents stay on smart? Apparently not. They did a complete left turn and tagged their newborn with one of the worst monikers yet. Well, at least she can change her name or modify it when she turns 18. Vegas won't take that bet as they know they will lose money...

Check Out Funny Business Names in Louisiana

From Denny: Of the few local newspapers left in America - before they get gobbled up and homogenized by Big Business to turn a bigger profit - there are those small papers that still retain a local flavor. Baton Rouge, Louisiana and The Advocate is one of them.

A local reporter by the name of Smiley Anders has been collecting and writing this funny column since 1979 when he first started in the business. The public write in their true stories of funny situations that happened to them. The public also pass on local Cajun jokes for good measure.

One day Smiley was calling out for readers to send in funny business names they have seen in their Louisiana communities. Some of the names are downright odd and funny crazy. Some business owners actually invested in these silly names!

A Truth Journal: More WTF? More Cool From Team Obama Giving Up Salary Money in Show of Sequestration Layoff Solidarity?: From Denny: America, forget about political optics, sliding our way this entire past week was more cool from the Obama White House channel.

Yes, it's true. There actually are federal officials giving away their money back to taxpayers. Happily blame Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and his Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton Carter for starting this trend when they jumped up and volunteered to put some skin in the sequestration game.

"Yes, don't ask of your country what they can do for your wallet but rather volunteer some of your paycheck back to your country's wallet" may be the new political trend? One thing is for sure, these Democrats definitely make the Republicans look like the usual stingy political losers flying their freak flags on the national political highway.

A Truth Journal: Cool WTF? Government Officials Are Voluntarily Giving Up Salaries Back to Taxpayers?: From Denny: Just when we are all so furiously angered at the selfishness of our government officials for the usual screw-ups, pure laziness and lack of will to make positive corrections, there happens to be two of them that rose above and beyond the call of duty. Yes, there are two federal officials that have landed in the Admiration Corner today. These two men are class acts.

Turns out the sequestration mess caused high levels of Pentagon civilian employee furloughs - to the tune of 750,000 people. The plan was to lay off these unhappy folks for 22 days but that has been cut back to 14 days. Still, it isn't easy to lose one of your paychecks - even though it's spread out over many months through September.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced that huge block of civilian furloughs will save $2.5 billion for the Pentagon budget. The sequestration across-the-board budget cuts went into effect on 1 March which amounts to $41 billion. This $2.5 billion employee furlough will be tacked to that reduction.

Funny Robber Dressed as Gumby Almost Arrested For The Fumbles

From Denny: Talk about the bumbling robber and hilariously funny. This silly guy goes into a San Diego 7-Eleven gas station store to rob them and the clerk refused to take him seriously. (Full story here.)

The Gumby Robber asked first for Marlboro cigarettes. The clerk thought it was a prank and he had been punked.

He didn't know who the 1950's Gumby cartoon character was and described Gumby to police later as "a weird greenish version of Spongebob Square Pants."

The clerk told the robber, "I don't have time for this. I'm cleaning right now."

When challenged, the robber claimed he had a gun and proceeded to try and pull it out of his costume's pocket. Uh, yeah, well, because of that wardrobe malfunction it turns out that only 26 cents in change spilled out from that bad fumble.

The robber was so embarrassed he/she ran out of the store. Didn't anyone teach this would-be robber at Crime School that a Gumby costume hand isn't as deft as a naked human hand?

What's great about this Gumby video version of the story is that the reporter recounts some other funny masked and costumed robbers caught on video. Especially check out the guy with the thong underwear on his head as a mask. Strange but true. ... And that's why they call them people...

Some days it has to be downright funny to be a police officer. Can you imagine the stories they have to tell that could fill several books?
